Just got my Forester back from 32,000km maintenance, A+B+C for 2010 models..

Don't get me going about the snafu they made at first, causing me to spend second day without a car..

So I finally got home, was looking at the nick in my wheel, and I noticed the brake discs had some strange scratches on them, in directions that in no way would be caused by the pads..

It looked like someone ran really rough sandpaper across the surface by hand.. Didn't realize the scuffing at the edges till the flash showed them in the pics..

Is this common practice? Just making sure.. they looked pretty clean and smooth to me before I sent it in.. rust on the outer edge as usual, but not this..
