Looks to be a little bit on the short side to me.

Did the STi have a different back box because of the depth of the bumper?

Looks like it has .mine had a wrx twin pipe on it when I got it.it also had spacers on rear bracket hangers to drop the back box a little bit.looks like your one is sitting in a bit further than mine when it was on the car

Same here. Shame really because what you really want is a nice shiny tailpipe that is visible from the side that does the rest of the car justice. Example pic included, albeit not an STI :icon_sad:
