do subaru foresters and outbacks have the same struts?

i doubt they do but i would like to know if a tire with an overall diameter of 29.3" will fit. i was told 29" is the biggest that would fit but if the struts are the same and a tire with an overall diameter of 29.3" will clear a forester spring perch, it might on my outback. no way in hell an owner of a newer outback would try bigger tires. that 29" was given to me from discount tires. i want to buy 225/75/16 grabber AT2s, a smaller size is harder to find. 29 and 29.3 isn't a very big difference. would spacers help?
