Hey guys and girls, this is my 99 Subaru Forester GT. Bought it just over 2 years ago as my daily driver but now it has been my project car for a little over a year. It had a few issues that could have turned into big issues so I took it off the road before it got any worse. Here is a few photos from when I first got it, to when I pulled it off the road, right up to how she sits now.
Pics from the advertisement

My first meet and the fozzy had it's photo taken!

Cleaned up the engine bay a bit!

Had to give the exterior my own little touch so that's exactly what I did. Picked up some 04 WRX wheels, WRX suspension, roof basket and wrapped the fog lights yellow. And added a few stickers on the back.

Shortly after was when I pulled it off the road, was just going to fix the problems but decided I want to build my dream car so to do that I needed time and money so I stripped it down, pulled the motor and decided I wanted to paint the engine bay. Again, I like to be different so everything is to what I like. Also chucked some Tein coilovers under it and then the WRX wheels didn't fit anymore due to the positive offset so picked up some 17sx7.5 +48s from a mate.

So next plans are to get the motor done and in the car, Just doing the gaskets and some bolt on mods as wanting to go a EJ207 eventually when money is right. Also doing all whiteline gear underneath her. Already done Whiteline 22mm rear sway bar with HD mounts.

And heres a few random photos from the build so far.

The coilovers. Got them cheap off a mate brand new. They don't go low enough for my liking so I will be getting some BC BR coils to suit a GD WRX eventually.

The freshly painted bay.

Put some sound deadening in the wheel wells, will be going WRX 4/2pots as well.

Ill update the thread as the updates come!

Bit of an update on the foz. Picked up a bumper that I just wanted the lip off for my Corolla. BUT! I thought it looked pretty sweet so I tested it on the Foz and actually love it!*Believe it or not it's actually off a 2003 Lancer VRX!

Using the top of the stock Forester bumper so I can make it fit properly.*

Also picked up some clear side indicators!

Alright guys! Picked up some new wheels for the foz! These ones will definitely be staying!! 18x9 +25 Cosmis MR7's (Work XT7 reps). Picked them up for a great price! Actually got them off the same bloke I got the XXR's off. Put Whiteline camber bolts on the rear. Will be doing the fronts as well today.

Well, I thought it was about time I finally get this thing done! Gates timing belt kit done, much easier than I thought it would be.

Exedy OEM replacement clutch.

And shes in!

Started rigging up the intercooler piping.

Won't be able to start it for a few weeks due to rego being due on another car so have to pay that first before I can get the few other things needed.
