Yanked out the front seats in an 09 Forester for a dual amp install.
Everything is back in and plugged in properly but the Airbag light in dash remains on. I was told by the installer this would happen and that it would have to go to the Dealer to be reset.

My Question is is there a quick fix for this or does it have to go in for dealer reset? And if it does, what charge should I expect?

TIA

Hmmmm, the dealer told me that the airbag system was self correcting and that the system checks itself everytime the car is started. So if you have a light and fix the fault it SHOULD go away. Not to doubt you but I would double double triple check the connections.

But, if you do have to go to the dealer I imagine it should only take 30mins or so (.5 labor units) but that's just an estimation.

Airbag Diagnostic $59.95
Code 42 -left side failure - Found Faulty Connector
Repaired $19.95 (my bet is they reconnected it but they said they replaced the connecter)
After Tax $89.49 Canadian

Just another worthy expence to get some awsome sound in the Fozzy!
