Is it light bar or lightbar?

Anyways, my son (Mason) and I are building a light bar for our pending trip to BC. BC will not allow lights above headlight height. I will use the basket wiring for rear facing (my 400's).

The 500FF's will be mounted up front on the bar. 2 lights only.

What you will need:

various sizes of square aluminum. 3/4, 1/2 and 1"
bolts and nuts (various sizes)
2 6" L-brackets
other misc garage stuff
Home Depot within walking distance (for when your bumper is off and you need 1 more screw. :huh:

I think of a "light bar" is a bar to which lights can be attached, and a "lightbar" is an integrated "bar of lights".

IMHO, you're developing a "light bar".

OK, so I think I got it: the L brackets are mounted to a piece of square tube that is held in place by the strapping that shows to the left in the first picture?

Any issues with airbag sensors?

Let us know how vibration is on this setup, seems like it should be OK.
