On my 2010 Forester I did have some work done on my rear hatch electric latch. Dealership fixed it by replacing latch button and addressing a short further up the line. This job was done about two months to three months ago and I didn't notice any problem until today. I was pulling into my garage and I noticed that when my rear wheels went over the bump by my garage entrance the daylight running lights blinked off and then came back on. It happened several times after that and then stopped once only to start again intermittently. What's up now. FYI Milage 94,000.

Almost sounds like a loose connection. You didn't by any chance shift out of D in the process of pulling into your garage? Seems like I recall that the DRL's only come on when in Drive.
Stock lights, no LEDs?
I've encountered lots of oncoming cars with LEDs what look like they are blinking at me, but it's just because the pattern is so sharp that it only hits its brightest in my eyes when it bounces.
