Is there a WRX STI and a regular WRX? If so what is the difference? I never knew of the difference and that there were two if this is true.

Different cars. Important differences are: STi has the 6-speed, better front and rear differentials and fancy center differential that even lets driver control it, bunch of stiffer bushings, wider track, bigger and stronger hubs (with different bolt pattern), Brembo brakes, stronger inverted struts with stiffer springs, larger turbo and intercooler. And, most importantly, the ginormous wing.

same hubs on 04. Don't forget interior add-ons. Diff gauge cluster, red stitching, blue carpet, blue seats, shifter trim.

One is insanely fast, the other is faster.

One will cost you an arm and a leg to insure, the other an arm, a leg, and a kidney.
