Hey All,
I just put '03 WRX seats in my '03 forester. Unfortunately the passenger seat airbag wiring harness was cut. I want to redo the harness but the wires aren't labeled positive and negative. Is there any way to tell which is which? Does it matter? And can I just cut the wiring harness on the car, and hard-wire everything together, or should I get a new harness to install. The wires to the car have a green and a brown stripe...which is which?

In case, anyone else runs into this issue, the '03 WRX seat inflators are resistance ignitors, thus polarity is un-important. FYI.

I know this is reviving a dead thread but I can confirm the polarity does not matter. I just installed MY11 STi seats and needed to wire in those airbags. No airbags exploded and no airbag light on (and the seats are wonderful).
