Evening all,
Using opposed forces, I'm looking up part numbers etc annnnnnnnnnd I've got a choice of part numbers depending on region/destination

I have the choice of KA or ER or EL
Which one am I after? (UK version)

KA - Australia
E2 - Israel
K0 - General LHD
K1 - General RHD
Blank - Hong Kong


No clue on the ER (Russia?) or EL

Looking for destination code for mine, will need it for ecu definitions. I'm located in Singapore and this is my applied model code; SH9BK9T

From searching found out that the fitht digit should represent the destination so that's K. Have found other info on such as KA etc but mine isn't that it would be K9... Any ideas guys?

In this instance, destination means RHD or LHD K= RHD; L= LHD


The Destination code is sometimes part of the OPTION CODE, but only when looking at destinations within a large area e.g. Europe with both RHD and LHD.

Have not seen any specific code for Singapore.

Jst to add: In the North American Applied model codes the fifth character is a "Y" refering to the US and Canada.

There is no destination/region code as such for JDM as they have their own unique VIN system with the VIN only having 9 characters.

As for your other item, "EE" was, as of 2017 workshop manuals, listed under the "General" category.
Is this is in relation to your listed vehicle "2019 Forester 2.0L" ???

I am trying to find a Model/Option code combination with full eyesight, on a 2.0l, but without auto-stop-start start. Seem auto-stop-start was always fitted on 2.5l models.
