After reading this thread http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f110/2000-sf5-s-tb-sti-sale-ebay-62883/

It got me thinking if anyone knows definitive spec for the SF5 Sti over the S/tb?
From What I can find out it is:

225/45/17 BBS wheels (Rays Optional?)
Sti carbon front strut brace
Sti Seats
Sti Pedals
STi Bodykit
4 pot brakes (optional?)
Different suspension bushes
Different suspension struts (optional?)
Different steering rack ratio??
Oil filled engine mounts
Lots of STi stickers!!!

Optional "STi Tune"
ECU upgrade to take it to 250 bhp (Japanese standards)
Different Exhaust
Intercooler hose

Any body care to add/ correct?

Thanks

Mark

The spec sheet I've seen (on a Japanese website, will have to try and find it again) suggest brakes and suspension are as STB, although as always STi modification parts are available to buy and could be dealer fit (on an STi or STB).

250bhp was standard on later STB.

The early "STI" Foresters were merely an STB version with some added body and interior updates, the 5MT version having an "Applied Model" code of SF5A53D or SF5B53D.(check VIN plate)
The first genuine "Tuned by STI" version came in 2001 with an Applied Model code of SF5D5ED.

If model code is different come back to us.
