Want to know, from folks here who take the cars to Express Service for minor items like oil change, tire rotation.I do for mine and also get those free Multi-Point Inspection done.
I understand the MPI is a simple a walk around the vehicle and visual inspection to see any fluids leaks etc and nothing more.

But my interest is around battery condition..How do they do it.Are they supposed to give me reading/print out along side the Multi-Point Inspection Form on battery condition.
For my prior hondas they did give me small printout from handheld device, and showed my battery condition. But I dont seem to get those with Subaru. Is this typical for express oil change.

Its that my battery, have failed twice prior and they did TSB update and accordingly that should have fixed the battery. But want to keep an eye out on battery ,prior to my warranty end.

^^^ Enthusiastic new car owner - congrats on your car ... nice, been a while for me.
If the dealer did your factory recommended battery fix you are surely good-to-go, IMO.

Occasionally I have taken my cars to Sears for the regular oil changes, need appointment where I live, and this Sears lets me observe the battery condition check if I ask. Bet Subaru dealer will do the same - ask. BTW, I've had good longevity results from the Sears Gold DieHard car batteries if you decide to change brands down the road.

My dealer has a small printout like a receipt they put with my paperwork. They give me a photo copy along with the MPI worksheet. Subaru dealer in Pittsburgh.
