If and when I aquire my AP and order my PDX maps I was wondering what my options are. Can I use the AP cable to the PDA? And, if so what would you guys recommend as a handheld? Palm7 work? And, if so where (Tari?) can I get the appropriate software? What compatiblity factors of the Palm do I need to have at minimum? 8MB? Not looking to get a laptop......

As far as I know, it will not run on a PDA. It is Windows based, and I think someone has gotten it to run on a WCE PDA, but its a hack job.

Get a used computer and use it. The one I log with is a 233 MHz PII, with 128 MB - no battery so I use an inverter. Not perfect, but it works. Zumble listed parameters to log about a week ago in this section.
