Here are some numbers I pulled off on my first data log attempt.
I forgot to check throttle position....
Let me know if you are interested in other values and I'll make another run.

Take a look, let me know what to do differently and I'll go do it again better!
Also, if you can recommend a better way to display the data let me know.

Man that looks like a safe tune considering the numbers you put down. I'll call this the Marty Mcfly post.

Ha just as I thought thanks Doc. Man you AFR's are solid and only 74% IDC's. How is your IAM, it looks happy.

You have the AP for logging right? You should sign up for Google, so you can open the logs in Google Spreadsheet.

You also have a 4EAT right? I'm assuming its downshifting when you gun it in 3rd and 4th? Because I see the vehicle speed the same at 6k RPM in the 3rd/4th gear pulls.

Next time manually shift it into "2" before doing the pull to keep it from shifting.

Try logging: RPM/LOAD/IGNITION ADVANCE/DYNAMIC ADVANCE/DYNAMIC ADVANCE MULTIPLIER/THROTTLE/BOOST/MAF VOLTAGE/LTFT/STFT and any knock correction table that the AP has for logging. Its hard to tell whats really going on with the parameters you selected to log.

Looks about right. Surprised you're not making boost a hair sooner, I'll have to dig up some of my logs to compare.

Let that puppy run out to at least 6,500 rpm if the trans will take it (not sure as I'm a 5mt guy). I actually run mine to 7K so I can stretch gears if need be for autox or to give myself a little over-run on the drag strip (since I'm shifting).

Biggest problem I'm running into is gear top speeds when trying to get over 6k. RL @ 7500.

I wouldn't know as I've been trying to limit the speeds to the operation manuals gear limits. So, ~65 in 2nd & ~104 in 3rd. I'm assuming this has more to do with the transmission than the engine as the 5MT & 4EAT speeds are different.
I don't think I could safely get much over 6.5k in anything other than 4th.

You should be logging feedback and fine learning knock correction, since those are the most important.

Logging afr is a waste of space, the stock sensor only reads down to 11.15, and is very inaccurate once you are in boost.

Sounds about right to me. My 07 4eat will go about 108 in 3rd.

'06, you should be able to log knock sum. I prefer it over fine and feedback knock. I "generally" modify my map often enough the ECU doesn't learn fine feedback. And if you're having knock sum advance, then you're getting feedback knock value incrementally as a product. I can't recall if '04 had it in the def's though.

AP is not playing nice....
Won't log more than 10 parameters...
Here's a 2nd gear pull

For just getting tuned, your Long Term Fuel Trims are a bit too rich, especially for Open Loop. Its possible you might have developed a boost leak after getting tuned, maybe the bypass valve gasket or the throttle body hose?

Also your Dynamic Advance Multiplier is only at .81, you ECU most likely saw some knock for it not to be at 1.0.

I'm assuming by the load that you really didn't floor it until around 3000 rpm? The throttle position wasn't logged, so I'm only guessing. Your ignition timing looks choppy, but might be because you didn't go full throttle to late in the gear.

If you take another log, don't worry about logging wastegate duty anymore, log throttle position instead.

Re-seated the throttle body hose, it may have work a bit crooked. BOV was tight but I will pull it off and double check the seal. Looked at everything else and seems to be OK.
Will resetting the ECU reset the long term fuel trim? If so, I'll do that as well after I've gone over everything.

I did roll onto the throttle, so 3k sounds about right for wot. It'll bog a bit if I just floor it from the get go.

I'll make adjustments and rerun.
Thanks for the input!
