Hi all,

2006 forester; been having trouble with the lights for the gauge cluster and for the radio, climate control, etc.
Just today I went to turn on my headlights, between off and running lights the lights flick on for a moment and then off. In headlight mode they don't come on at all. Headlights work fine, interior dome lights work. How might I go about diagnosing this issue?

There is a brightness control, I think on the lower, left dash just to the left of the steering wheel, for brightness - just check to make sure that isn't turned way down.

check wiring harness for light on switch, corrosion is possible, light switch can be bad and not pass power, first check fuses, and see what common power draws still works or doesnt ,besides lights

On my 99 OBW the Illumination Control Module blanks out if I run it at full brightness. If I pull it down one click works fine.
