and dripping on catalytic converter. Smells bad, but leak didn't spill that much fluid. Is it safe to drive the car 10 miles to the garage?

If it was myself and my own vehicle it would depend on other symptoms.
Is anything making unusual noises?
If I were to drive it around the block does it act funny or have any strange symptoms?
If I got it up to speed on a surface street nearby is it acting funny or have any strange symptoms?

In my mind if the answers to all of the questions I ask myself are "no" I would probably drive mine to the service center. If I had AAA or roadside assistance of any sort that covers towing I might just have it towed. I have Roadside assistance attached to my cellular phone. Does not matter who's vehicle is being towed, if my cell phone is present at the scene of the vehicle to be towed and I place the call I get 10 miles of free towing and then a deep discount on any miles over 10 miles. I also have roadside assistance\towing included with my auto insurance. If you have something like that you could use to your advantage it might give you peace of mind to use it.

Appreciate the reply, Nick. I have access to towing based on a warranty plan so even though it's adding 1.5 hours to the process, better safe than sorry.

Happy New Year.
