Thanks Don,
I try to buy STi forrie in japan auction. I can't choose STI versions. There are several versions: MY01 STi (~2000$), STi II (~4000$) and STi II Type M (~6000$).

Yes but it depends what "market" you are looking at as to how much more.............

"All" JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) usually have higher outputs than their EDM (European Domestic Market) brethren. (usually have the impreza engine spec fitted)

2001 Sti IIM puts out 250ps (japanese test standard) about 226BHP (DIN)

2003 SG5 puts out 220ps about 200BHP (DIN) (UK SG5 about 177BHP DIN)

Ok, thanks again Don. Your answer is very helpful for me. :)

I have other variant:
JDM Stock 2004 SG9 STi is better then JDM performance tunned 2001 SF5 STi IIM? SG9's odometer 150'000km, SF5's 66'000km. Price is same.
There are only 800 STi IIM in the world :)

This is an old link, but gives the details of the SG9 Sti (2004)

Power figures are as quoted from Japan. (Engine would be remapped in UK for UK petrol)
Thanks Don,
I'm affraid engine for SF5 STi II/M. I think, it maybe near to die time? Because, It may be used drag race :D
My friend recommended for stock SG5 XT Cross Sport or SG5 STi JDM MY03-MY04. He was owned too many Subies (GC5, GC8, SF5, SG5, SG9 etc..)

JDM SG5 STi MY03's engine EJ20 (2.0 L H4 turbo). How many km for EJ20 engine lifetime in practical?
There is good "sexy blue" JDM SG5 STi MY03. But, odometer has 150,000km :( Is it no problem in EJ20 engine? Your opinion welcome, Don :)

I'm at 176,000 kms, still going strong (touches wood).

Alan Mac on here replaced his SG5 engine at 224,000 kms.

Many go on for far more, it just depends how much abuse they get.

I planning to buy some auto parts to my JDM MY99 S/tb: TD05-20G turbo kit, FMIC kit, BOV, Boost/Oil temp Gauges, Electronic Boost Controller and Catback/Muffler. ;)

Do you have any experience of TD05-20G turbo kit? Please, advice me

I am using a TD05 from an OLD JDM WRX on my S turbo and apart from the lag especially in 1st gear it is great spooling to 1 bar (boost nanny intervenes) in 4th and 5th gear just above 5500rpm I have to dial the boost back a bit.:icon_redface:
If you have to buy a turbo rather get a TD04.
