Creaking/squeaking from B-pillar area
After 5 years of relative creak-free ownership, I'm getting an annoying noise from the B-pillar area (drivers-side). It's not a rattle, it's a sharp plasticy sound, like 2 pieces of hard plastic edges rubbing against each other. Happens over slight bumps and when the chassis flexes. To rule out the doors & seals, I've driven a short distance with front and passenger doors slightly open and I still get the noise. I've driven with the lower B-pillar cover removed and it's still there. Is the next logical step to remove the upper B-pillar cover (incl seatbelt adjuster) ? Or are there any airbag-related reasons not to do that ? I tried to search, but mostly found references to rattling noises from the seatbelt adjuster, and this is definitely not a rattling sound.
