Common choice on tires

The Foz STi has arrived with some pirreli p7 which I think are a part of the issue with the cars tendency to understeer and the steering to feel a little light/loose so think a starting point would be to fit a fresh set of tires all round.

So what are people running?

I have a set of Hankook Ventus ready to go on the Cross Sports when it arrives, due to good reviews. Ideal would be Michelin PS4, but £££s
It seams that most people here are posting high performance tires. I use my Forester for commuting and road trips as a majority. Having been putting between 20 & 30 thousand Miles (not K) on a year I needed something with decent grip but didn't wear out every year.

I use Contenentals. I believe that the version I have is the True Contact and they are working very well for me. Of course I have a 2.5i so I won't be winning any land speed records but I am happy with the performance.
The reality is that any of the well known brands will be perfectly fine. The Continental Contact 3s on my Impreza 8-9 years ago were fantastic, but no doubt reviewers would say they are rubbish compared to new models.
