So managed to find a set of c pillar trims suposidly in the right colour over in Australia of all places. Much cheaper than the UK so thought I'd give it a whirl as I'd seen it done over on American forums. Posted to a mate in Sydney who kindly shipped them over here for free.

Fitted one side just to get an idea, thought I'd put it out there to see what people think. Excuse the lighting and the unclean car.

Also have a set of front spats to fit to :grin2:

Its weird how fashions come and go , like skinny jeans whats that all about ? we will all be wearing boot cut again in a few years .

Top one looks great, bottom one doesn’t.

BUT...if you do decide to go with the colour coded ones, I will happily buy the black ones!

(do they just clip on or something???)

Top image [black pillar] makes the Foz look longer and lower.... More enclosed and emphasizes the negative space of the windows.

Bottom [color pillar] makes the Foz look taller in the roof structure and emphasizes the body and less on the window space.

As it's not at the same angle with the vertical line of the rear 3/4 and D pillar it just looks; well wrong and squint as if it's been stuck on wrongly. However I can see it as a pick up now >

Yeah....I was thinking mix it up a little: once side silver, one side black. After all, you would never see them both together :lol:

Still happy to buy the black ones so I can make my XT look like an STi while you make your STi look like an XT (damn, that’s let the cat out of the bag...now where’s that edit button? :Banane37: )
