Alright, I want to get coilovers for my 05' XT and friend of mine is selling a slightly used set at a very good price. however, its for and WRX. it should bolt in w/o problems right? 03-07wrx and 04 STi correct? what are the pro's and con's on buying WRX spec'd coilovers?

any input will be appreciated.

They'll fit. I believe the overall length of the assembly will be shorter than Forester specific ones. They'll go lower.

The answers depends so much on the individual coil overs its almost like asking how long a piece of string is.

Stock Impreza ride height suspension will lower a Foz by 2", how low was the WRX?

they'll fit fine, but they will likely be very low. You'll probably have a minimum 2 inch drop, up to having the car completely slammed. Anything over about 3-4 inches of drop gets your control arms/lateral links past parallel.

What brand are they? They might not be worth it.
