Hey guys. This past weekend I bought my first Subaru. The FXT is awesome, I love everything about it. I hate that my first post is going to be something bad but it has to happen. Sometimes when I am stopped facing up hill with the clutch pushed in and in gear the car does not roll back at all. But as soon as I release the clutch a little bit it will roll back until it catches. My friend that owns a STi said that it could be my clutch starting to go. I thought it was a safety feature of the car. Any help it very much appreciated and I am proud to be part of the Subaru family.

Isn't it your "Hill Holder" feature?
Maybe you should and friend should RTM?

Correct, it is the hill holder feature. It's covered in the manual and there are several places it is discussed on the forum.
