My wife's car has developed a new noise this morning. :woohoo:
The noise appears sometimes (repro is not 100%) at low speeds (under 20mph) while the car is either rolling, starting or stopping. Direction of movement seems to have little impact (right turns seem to be immune). The noise is a clunking noise. The rate of these noises does not change with speed and disappears at speeds over 20mph or even less at times. Best I can tell the hoise is coming from the rear right wheel and not middle.
The car is '01 Forester S with drum rear breaks; no mods, 128K miles.
Any thoughts? I'd rather avoid a 'tealership on this one.
