I think that's a good idea. The price of those products is outrageous though. Maybe someone can chime in with a bargain price version.

What about applying the home kit to a rear bumper? I'm thinking of doing this myself. Have anyone tried it?

We have more than a few threads on this.

It has been tried with the rhino lining that comes in a can, it wasn't very tough.

Here ya go. We hashed it out pretty good. I did not end up doing it as I decided it was a cosmetic modification as compared to a really useful one.
