hi i am new here so hi everyone,my question is can i fit a cherry bomb type rear silencer to my forester 2.0l 2002?

From a quick 'google' as I had no idea what a cherry bomb was !!.. there may be one that fits but it doesn't look as if it is road legal for the UK. But then how likely is the rear silencer likely to be checked out !?

Can I ask why you want one ?

You will have Plod all over you issuing PCN's if you get a cherry bomb. They wont like that.

I had a cherry bomb on my MK1 fiesta 1100 sport back in the mid 80's :biggrin:

I was about to say the same, I had a Mk1 Fiesta 1300S which was the most modified car I've ever owned! Wish I still had it :icon_cry:

Mini Clubman 1100 with a 2.5" Cherry bomb, could be heard 2 miles away (as my mate told me when he heard me driving down!)

PCN - Penalty Charge Notice for parking - not sure why a CB would attract one!

Any modification that increases the noise from the exhaust is strictly illegal. (section 59 Construction and use regs)

To fit a CB to a Foz would involve welding the CB in in place of the stock rear box, so unless you can weld, don't bother!
