Looking for chains/cables for the Forester. Currently I'm looking at the SCC Super Z6 cables which meet or exceeed SAE class "S" clearance requirements.
According to the owners manual these are permitted, but only on Front (I think - need to verify this).
Any recommendations?
Yes I'm getting snow tires. But a) the passes in BC require you carry chains (illegal if you don't) b) when I drive up mountains to go ski touring I end up offroad (and often those roads are posted with a chain requirement as well) and in various depths of snow c) cannot use studded tires because the city won't allow it
