Yesterday, I used Google Maps with Apple CarPlay to get directions to an unfamiliar destination. As I was driving, my phone started to give me slightly different directions from the Head display screen and it was truly weird to hear the car say "Turn left on Hogan Drive" while the phone say "turn right on Hogan Drive." I went on for a few minutes, fascinated by the moment and the directions got stranger and stranger whichever way I turned. I finally had to stop for a latte and breather before trying a reboot and using Waze, which seemed to do the trick, but for a while there, it was One Step Beyond.
