I'm replacing alternator. I've got replacement one (used) from eBay and I can't fit it in place.

It's the same model as the one I removed but it has this bushing that sticks out just a hair and makes it impossible for me to put alternator back in place.

Has anyone had this problem when installing replacement alternator?

What is the best way push it out of the way?

Please delete this thread Some gentle whacking with metal rod shifted this bushing enough to get alternator in place.
