Camber bolts

So I picked up some WRX struts the other day to put on the '06 FXT. Started changing over the front units but noticed that the wrx jobbies don't have the ovalised upper hole to accommodate the camber bolts.

Could someone possibly shed some light on whether I've bought the wrong struts or is there a mod I'm not aware of.

Cheers in advance guys!

I've made this exact swap on an 05X and 06XT (using WRX wagon struts and springs) and the front struts accepted the camber bolts - it's a direct fit. There are no camber bolts in the rear.

The hole in the strut isn't oval - it's round. The camber bolt is also round, but a short segment of the bolt is on a different central axis. So, as you rotate the bolt, the strut moves in or out relative to the hub. You're right - it's the top hole that accepts the camber bolt.

Are you sure you got front struts? From what year WRX?
Thanks heap for the reply mate. I think I've found where I was going wrong!
