Hey,

This is doing my head in.

Changed the timing belt and have everything lined up, sort of...

How accurate are the timing marks?

To get all the camshaft marks lined up perfectly the crank mark is half a tooth off on the crank sensor ring. That is the mark on the crank sensor ring that is meant to line up with the mark on the oil pump is in the valley of the crank sensor ring teeth where I have it set up on the peak of the tooth just after...

If I line the crank mark up accurately there is no way I can line the camshaft marks up as they are out by half a tooth.

Has any one seen this?

I did the search but didn't find anything like this, if there is please point me in that direction.

Thanks

I experienced the same as I recall, the cam marks off just a hair. This diagram put my mind at ease, just count the teeth and all should be good (worked for me, anyways).
