For about a week, I smell burning smell coming from under the hood. It definitely smells like burning rubber but I don't see what could be causing it. About a week ago I changed the battery but I don't think this could be the reason.

Any ideas?

Could be a torn axle boot splattering grease on the the exhaust, or an oil leak somewhere.
