By no means am I an expert but I think what would be help is if you shared your goals.

Are you going for reliability? Performance? A target HP goal?

Secondly you have to now consider how you are going to tune it. With COBB laying an egg it will be very expensive to get a tune now.

Sharing your vision would help with anyone trying to offer advice.

@Dondolo thanks for so replying me...
i am going for reliability and performance, owner wants to feel turbo response better , i havent remove the stock turbo yet
but i think its the td04
taret HP goal will be 250awhp is best
yes i am going to tune it, i havent decide with what, but i need open sugestions
cobb will not an option, although I am a Cobb tuner, because the car is JDM
so will it better to use unichip or ecu edit or go stand alone

owner request to change the manifold too, so I might go for the V band Garrett or EFR ?
injectors do I need to change?
intercooler I planned to go FMIC , but i know its going to be so tight.
do yo ever experience more lagg from FMIC >?
xhaust system will be fully HKS i think legamax ?>

please help me since my experience with subaru old model are not much, i usually do FA engine, please give me opinion.
thanks

Hello anyone here at least give me idea of the aftermarket turbo choice..
Should i keep the flange or change to Vband so i can have more option on turbo.
Or just use PNP like tomei or else.
Please some one here. Help

@Victor Garage if your goal is reliability and 250awhp, you should look into the STI turbo. you can run that bigger turbo without having to change out the injectors on the forester, then you can upgrade to the STI TMIC as well.

I noticed that you wanted a FMIC, there will be more turbo lag with a FMIC. In my opinion the TMIC is the better option.

So are we talking the VF52 ? Since my TMIC is flange inlet.
