didn't know where to put this, but anyone else have a problem with there bug deflectors coming off in the drivers light corner. Mine does and tried to use some 3m sticky tape to make it stay, but tonight drivng 70 wind about 30came off again. Does anyone else have this problem and if you do what did you do to solve it? thanks in advance.

i did for now, but need to put it back on, we gravel the roads in the winter here and have loads of snow still. So protects the front of the hood from stone hits.

I installed the bug deflector on my 03 x/At shortly after I picked it up. Through countless car washes and over 70K miles, it hasn't so much as wiggled. Perhaps it was installed incorrectly :huh:

Are all the clips still there?

Like above, once I installed mine following the directions it isnt going anywhere. Not even when I was finding top speed:biggrin:

I've always had a hood protector on my '03 X & it's tight. My guess would be that yours may have lost a mounting point or two. If you didn't install it, the original installer may have left off something, like the brackets that slide onto the hood, which the securing screws attach to. Have you taken it off to look it over?
