After about 25 minutes of driving (back highways, nothing crazy just going to the mall), sitting at a stop light the Forester did her best Harley impression. Literally, the whole car shook as it idled. A little gas and it smoothed back out and hasn't done it since. 2010 5 speed. I assume a sensor or possibly coil pack issue? Any ideas?

I had a similar problem, although I also had a brief check engine light. Code said it was a cylinder 2 misfire. It turned out to be a coil pack.

Mine totally failed about a week later, luckily near my mech's shop. It is a problem that can leave you stranded if not corrected.

Thanks, that would be a good bet probably. I just had timing belt and heads redone, along with plugs and wires. Things that are 10 years old should usually be replaced together. Maybe I'll just go ahead and order a coil.
