So maybe this is a dumb question but I was wondering if a trailer receiver/hitch would actually improve handling. I installed a Curt hitch the other day and couldn't help but notice that it is a super sturdy hunk of metal that bolts up between the frame/body rails on the rear end. I would think that it should prevent some body flexing. Anyone else with a trailer hitch/receiver notice any improvement (stiffening of the rear end) after installation?

I have. Another thing it does is add more weight behind the rear axle, it offsets the weight on the front a bit.
