I have read that both muffler have different tones to them. What are the differences in sound between the two? Thinking of just having one muffler welded on for now and possibly adding a second, because not having a dual exhaust on the forester is nearly criminal. Was looking at either the Borla Pro XS or the Magnaflow Universal Mufflers. Any input on awakening the engine a little bit?

I have had Borla exhaust systems on cars I use to own, they are $$$ but worth every penny. Question for you, that dog picture is that a Ridgeback???

Going to try to find myself a Borla muffler then. Yeah the dog in the picture is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. He is a bit bigger than the usual Ridgeback, but thinks he is a lap dog.

Keep us posted as I would like to get a universal muffler welded on as well. What inlet size do we need...2 1/4"?
