Hi everyone, 2 days ago while i was driving fast my car suddenly started to become powerless and shaking engine noise come up and i saw extremely tick blue smoke coming from the exhaust after short while i stopped and noticed there was no oil when i checked the dipstick.because i was in countryside alone i kept driving to nearest village bought a couple of litres motor oil put it in and drove for over 200k until i got into slightly larger town. during that time i had to top up the engine oil because it was burning through 1l per 20k something like that. there was no warning light on the dash until i got into town. everytime the gas goes under 2000RPM the car shuts down. now there is no specialized subaru repair shop nearby as i live in a werid place. my guess is that the boxer engine is fecked up
am i correct? some sort of gasket blown and let the oil go past the pistons and destroyed piston rings is my wild guess ( i'm no expert) from previous experience i know that when coolant misex with petrol it fecks up the head gasket my questions is what parts get destroyed when oil mixes with petrol ?

i would like to have a rough idea before i find a way to bring my car to different town to change parts. i odnt want to change whole engine thing just need to know the main parts that need to be changed so i can do my research and find suitable shop hundreds of KMs away.

PS: i live in a third world country please dont tell me to go to subaru authorised dealer or pro shops hehe :grin2:

either you blew a head gasket , or broke or burned a ring, driving too fast can do both........... driving on no visible oil probably means the engine must be rebuilt or replaced, look for visible leaks, make sure oil is up to full mark, replace the oil filter , and do a cylinder compression test to determine if blown head gasket or broken ring,
