One of the things I've wanted to do since getting my XS was change the lights on the dash from that stock green to a nice blue which i find aesthetically pleasing but also matches my radio. I finally got around to beginning the process and I'm very satisfied so far. Still some tweaking to do as some are not perfect (clock backlight has a huge hotspot in the middle, particularly during the day) but a lot of them look good. Here are some pics of the progress. So far I have changed the gauge lights, ignition ring light, clock backlight, shifter backlight, the most annoying of which was definitely the ignition ring light. Next up is the hvac controls and buttons to the left of the steering wheel. Possibly also the blinkers. I tried to get good pics during the day and at night. The night pics look overly bright when they're actually at perfect brightness. The clock and the odometer look super bright and unreadable at night in most pics but i really tried to focus on them in the two pictures to show that they're actually very practical and look good. Also, besides the clock, there really isn't any major hotspotting which I'm happy about. The layout of the different size bulbs lighting up the gauges causes slight hotspotting in the gas and temp gauges but that's really it. More pics to come once i get more blue in there and I'd be happy to answer any questions about the process.

Unrelated note: I also swapped out all of my dome and map and cargo lights for LEDs while i was at it, definitely worth the switch.
