I have a 07 Forrester LL bean (non-turbo of course) and was thinking about getting the brake and power steering fluid flushed by my local guys using a BG Flush. I just dont want to fool with disposing the old fluid. Has anyone done a BG flush on there Scoobies, if so what is the opinion. THanks

I LIKE IT!

Did the BG routine at my local shop for my 01 Forester at 105,000 miles. Car is now at 131,000.

Automatic Transmission:

WOW! You've just GOT to stay and WATCH the process. The old fluid comes out, as seen through a sight tube, until it runs clean. The Before and AFTER is amazing!
= DEFINITE IMPROVEMENT IN SHIFTS.

Brake Fluid:

Existing fluid not terrible dirty, but noticable.
= No performance improvement observed by this user, but a better piece of mind.

Power Steering Fluid:

Existing fluid not terrible dirty, only slightly noticable.
= No performance improvement noticed by this user, but a better piece of mind.

BOTTOM LINE:

Just DO IT.:icon_biggrin:

Hey Douglas... i have an 07 forrester Non-turbo and i was always told that dont use anything but the Subaru Rated ATF.. because it has certain conditioners or whatever in it. I would sure rather get the BG flush.
