I need to replace the rear passenger door due to damage resulting in deep scratches and damaged door skin. Luckily, all the damage is isolated to this door only.
Any suggestions or sellers that will sell a rear passenger door (with or without trim/interior pieces/glass) for a reasonable price? Doesn't need to color match, but would be much easier if it was silver color for a 2017 Forester 2.5i with black plastic bottom trim.
I've attached a photo of the original damage. It's been painted over with primer, Duplicolor silver (non-matching) and cleared as a temporary fix and to prevent rust damage.
Now, I'm looking to do a permanent and proper fix. I thought about going to a place to do a dentless repair then repainting it myself, but the steel is unlikely able to return to its original shape as it's been over a year now. Or, possibly going to a shop to get the outer skin removed and replaced, but it will likely cost as much as a new door.
