I'm hoping someone here can offer advice. We have a 2003 Subaru Forester XS. We now have our 17-month-old in a rear-facing Britax Boulevard, installed with LATCH behind the driver's side. (Our older child is forward-facing on the passenger side.) It is a struggle for me to get her into position. She's very small, but she still has almost no legroom, and she complains about being squished. It's also hard for me to lean in there and buckle her into the seat.

We have to buy new car seats anyway because we just moved to Canada. Does anyone have recommendations for a good convertible car seat that will allow more leg room than a Britax and will allow us to keep her rear-facing until at least 30 lbs, and then forward-facing after that?

Thanks!

elluva question... and the only thing that really comes to mind is that i know recaro (highly regarded racing seat producer) makes babyseets now.
They are pricey... but i mean... how much do you love your baby?
