I thought I had my bases cover b4 attempting the 2 belts.

The belt that drives the PS pump is a piece of cake.

The belt that drives the AC is not a piece of cake. Do I need to remove the entire fan assembly to loosen the locking bolt? so that I can loosen the pulley so I can get the belt off?

You can not fit a socket and ratchet in there. I tried both an open end 12mm and a closed end 12mm. I can see that I'm about to "round" off the nut so I stopped hoping that one of the forum members might have a tip.

Thanks.

Thanks, I did look at the local parts store for a wrench with an offset but couldn't find one.

I did finish the job after sliding the fan assy up out of the way. I didn't have to remove entirely.

While I was in there I ended up removing the coolant res just to discover all kinds of flaky crud suspended in the coolant. It must be dried flaked coolant conditioner. Clean now and the radiator coolant seems clean at least what I can see.

Most likely time for a flush/fill.
