well BC coilovers finally fitted and tyre size back up to 45 from 40 (STI 2006) first thing, new tyre are Avon zz3 much more sidewall movement on 45 than 40 not sure if it is the make of tyre or size?old tyres were Pradas and I had a noise from the near side back which sounded like wheel or diff wear , there was 4mm 0f tread left on it , was told by the tyre fitter this is problem with some high performance tyre which they had come across before ,also on a trip to Japan with Toyo they were told the tyre pressure is different for UK roads than Japan?.The change to BC was because the ride was just too hard Not 100% sure what the set up was,STI &Eibach springs + full Whiteline suspension upgrade( the car is Smiles old car can anybody help?)Total cost coilovers £630 , fitted by Revolutions-Gateshead + complete 4 wheel alignment on machine £250, tyres £105 each total £420, car was set at same high as before 66mm floor to wheel arch but set at 20 clicks(1 hard - 30 soft)the car was like a go cart before but very hard now on soft setting more movement on cornering but much softer ride ,BC recommended springs of 4.5 & 5 for road use & they were one of the few which would change spring rates and made a coilover for the SG9 at a good price. Will try to get photo on web but not sure how too, can you post it Fivos?
