Hello I still am unfamiliar with this forum and where to place posts. Also I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before but I am unsure how the search function works on this website.

I am curious if a 2007 Forester XT automatic Transmission will interchange with a 2005 forester xt automatic transmission. The 07 trans will be going onto an 05 xt if it makes a difference. Thank you!

Go to Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and look for a transmission for an 05, the interchangeable years will show as possible parts. My experience is that many years the auto transmissions were year specific in some cases. The link is the best answer.
