Yes. With the possible exception of the base model, all Australian SJ and later Foresters have auto stop/start. The starter motor in mine still works fine as does the original battery which was probably made in Nov/Dec 2012.Does the auto stop/start feature actually engage the starter motor for every start
The engine will also shut off with AVH when conditions are met.Oops!, there's way too much to learn. I see that AVH is like auto Stop/start without stopping the engine! LEARNING CURVE!
