Let me preface this question. I did a search and was unable to find a suitable answer.

I have a 06 LL Bean with auto climate control. The issue that I am having is that no matter what position I place the heat at, it heats up to an extreme heat and will stay that way, even when I turn the heat all the way down to 65. I do not live in such a climate that it should do this. Once the car heats up fully, the heat regulates, but it does not seem that it holds temperature well and needs constant adjustment. I live in the northeast and did not have this issue last season, if I recall. Any thoughts would be helpful, as the only thing I have not done is take it to the dealer.

Thanks

I have the auto climate feature as well. I don't use it. Typically, I get too hot and turn off the heat all together after a few minutes. In the summer, (Tulsa, OK) There is no point on setting auto climate to 65 because there is no way the car can ever beat the heat...

Hopefully someone else can chime in with their experience.
