Last week Calgary got their dump of the white stuff, and here it is early May and here in Edmonton got our spring snowstorm.
I had already taken off the winter tires but picked up a nail in one of the all seasons so fired on the spare rims with blizzakks on sunday and sure glad I did.
I saw that on the news last night. There was a terrible accident at a train crossing. Killed a father and his 2 kids-sad to hear. Our weather the last week has been unseasonally cool and damp. It's been mostly rain, but we've had the occasional snow flurry too. I'm with you eric92, bring on the May like temps and sunshine.
my mother in law is in Edmonton at the moment on a trip........... lol, when she was packing, she made sure we was taking some snow boots. I laughed at her saying, 'you'd never need those!!!'..
Pretty sick of this stuff by now! That small tease of nice weather a few weeks back made me think we were actually heading into spring. Should have known better I guess
Wow, sounds like a ...spring... wonderland up there!
My wife saw snow early morning yesterday in downtown Portland, Oregon yesterday. It was brief and didn't stick, but that's HIGHLY unusual for us in May. Around here, we usually only get a few inches of snow for the whole year! Most of the winter here is rainy instead of snowy.
^^^ FYI western subaru club is having a super meet this weekend in Red Deer. Might be worth checking out.
