Checking my funky-fresh, super-sweet subaruforester.? calander ( 8) ), I see that the first weekend in May is the 6-7th. :D
Y'all know what that means!!! Time to get the ball rolling.

This will now be a joint venture between subaruforester.? and offroadsubarus.com as there are some ORS.com members in the area who drive non-foresters. However, I'm thinking follow the same May meet format and keeping the meet in Pisgah and the off-road to the gravel roads with a pavement option so that none is left out. :D

Of course, I'd like to get y'alls input.
Edit: May 6th to April 29th.

Sounds like a good date to me.
This should not be a problem for us as it was last year. 2006 is going to be much better :D

Hi Jami, I was just thinking about you guys - is everyone healthy again?
Hello Laurie, Happy New Year! How are you guys? I'm looking forward
to the meet in May. I really like your new avatar, maybe Richard will make me one. I'm glad subaruforester is back up and running, Richard was experiencing serious withdrawal systems! We were up in Cashiers for Christmas and we had a little bit of snow Christmas night, it was
beautiful. Now it's back to work.

everyone was for about a week. Now Jaron has congestion and sounds awful. I spent a day at the doctor last Wednesday getting checked out for pain and discomfort. Then they sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound to check for abnormalities. So far I haven't heard anything bad but I sure wish the pain would go away. Apparently it is something that just has to run its course. The Dr. suggested I remain out of work until Monday but I just couldn't do it. My work was already behind from being out with that awful stomach virus. I did manage 43 hours this week though. I will say the May meet sounds really good right now. I think we need a vacation. How about you guys?

Ask and you shall receive.
That twitching I was experience is finally subsiding. Now if I can just control this mumbling ......database... gotta get it back on line!

I'm really looking forward to our semiannual meet in May. :D

<YAWN> (as I emerge from hibernation).

I finally started having some free time again so I thought I'd poke my head in and say hi.

We're going to try to make this one.
I hope to have my roof back on by then.
Most of the debris has been cleared away, but it still looks looks a Dr. Seuss book around here.
I'm looking forward to seeing some whole trees again!

.... something about having a "one track mind"

FYI: that's a Norfolk & Western class Y6 2-8-8-2.
Not something you want to play chicken with!

We'll reserve the weekend. Hopefully we can make it to this one (expecting another baby this July). Had a great time at our first one and got a chance to break in the fxt on the gravel.

Just so's you know, in the past we haven't done anything on Sunday. In the past, I've been trying to get folks to off-roading on the Sun. after the meet Sat., but so far I've had no takers. :( Maybe this year things will be different.

Thanks for the 'sticky' (whoever did it???).

I'm working on May 6th - I've got a big wedding. Why can't we move it up a weekend???? April 29th anyone? I'll even block the date from wedding bookings.

Jami, that doesn't sound so good. Are you ok now? I would love to see you guys this spring so I would love it if we did this a week earlier.

Laurie, April 29th would actually be better for us. We take care of opening my parents place in Cashiers so the earlier the better! We're really looking forward to it.
Say Hi to Carl, Hayden, and Lillian

Will you be driving from Cali to join us this year Roo?
It would only take you a week to get here  .
Anyway, the end of April should work out for us.

Roo / Silke , if you were so inclined you could both fly out to Atlanta and stay with us . Then borrow one of our Foresters for the meet. :D
