HI Folks,

I've searched a few days now for this info but cant find it.

I have a 2001 JDM SF5 forested with an EJ205 block. It has a 4 plug ECU in it. Can anyone tell me if there is a specific Impreza Power FC that i need to use or will any 4 plug impreza Power FC work?

I realise that cams are different and it will need a full tune - so that's all cool, i just want to make sure that i don't buy the wrong unit.

No viable Ecutek option where i live and i don't want to drop over a grand on a Link etc so have decided PFC is the best option for me.

Cheers, but I’m specifically interested in the power FC. Contacted ESL re a daughterboard but when they saw a pic of the ECU they told me to go to Ecutek

Interesting. The only reason I suggested it is because the FC is OLD tech now. Not that it won't work, but it has a lot fewer cells to tune, so the overall tune is much less... granular?

Yeah, it’s not cutting edge by any means but I’m not going for huge power so it will do what I need it to. I had originally thought ESL could work but it seems not. I think I’ve found what I need in any case, there were only two pfc’s for the Impreza - gc8f is the 4 plug that I need, the other is the three plug - fingers crossed I guess!
