For those looking to lower the Forester slightly but not interested in the "JDM" look... have any of you tried 04+ Outback Sport springs?

It seems that they'd be somewhere between the stock Forester height and the STi height, with spring rates similar to (or a bit higher than) the WRX Wagon. Possibly a good match for the stock Forester struts.

I'd look up the spring rates, but ravensblade-impreza is down and I can't get to the spring rate chart.

The weight of the OBS and the Forester are similar, and they are both Impreza wagons.

Any thoughts?

I don't know of anyone who's tried it. We need a guinea pig!

Haha.

I may try to find a set to play around once I get the vehicle. :)

It's between the OBS stockers (if I can find a set cheap) and the Whiteline Flatout springs (SG Forester application). The WL Flatouts might be the magic trick.

The Whiteline Control springs for the GD/GG WRX/STi are another option, probably similar to the STi pinks for the Impreza.
